I am "cat-sitting" Ashley's cat, Sammy, for a few days. This is where he likes to be, but Punkin's not so sure he wants Sammy there! They are slowly getting used to each other and Punkin is learning to share. What fun! ~ N ~

Ginger the dog

Here's a picture of a dog I named Ginger. She turned up Labor Day weekend. She's a red heeler and very sweet. I'm taking her to the Humane Society this week :( ~Kim

Officially spring in Texas!?

This is what we woke up to today... it's beautiful... but supposed to warm up to 65 tomorrow. Crazy!

My creative dad

Look at what Dad made for his grandkitty - a custom, and I mean custom, cat tower/scratching post. It's complete with a house (fireplace and skylight included), a barn with farm animals, and a putting green. In the first picture is a tube on the left. Balls go down a hole in the top platform, down the tube, and come out at the bottom. Book will always get a hole in one! And notice the coloring in "Book" - the black on the ends just as Book's coloring is. Book has entrance into the barn from the other side, as well. Also on display on the house is the 8# mounted rat's head that Book caught - a true man's castle! :) Book and I are very appreciate to Dad for all of the labor involved in constructing this one-of-a-kind masterpiece. ~Kim
