Thank you for posting the pics, Nancy. Does anyone have a special memory or story to share about him? I was 4 when he passed, so I didn't have a chance to get to know him. ~Kim
Mom, thank you for the pictures. I wish I had the one of him and me when I was a baby on digital so I could post that one. One of my strongest memories of Papa was when he and Grandma came to visit us in their camper. It parked outside our house in Garland, and I thought it was so much fun to go inside and eat lunch or just sit and visit. I think I was 8 or 9 years old at the time, but I remember that Papa would take me inside the camper whenever I wanted to go.
It was around that same time that I remember him working hard in our backyard building the play house. I remember thinking that Papa could do anything! It was such a beautiful blue and white playhouse. I wish I had pictures of that, too. --Sarah
The kid picture of Grandpa reminds me of Nancy! I remember Grandpa, but I did not get to spend much time with her that I remember, because I moved a lot. But I have seen a lot of pictures of me and him when I was a baby. My mother (Patsy) always told me he was the sweetest and nicest man she ever met. Kelly

Just like Kim, I never got a chance to know him. I would love to hear some special memories anyone might have of him, too. - Laura
