BLOG Instructions (just to get you started)
1. To add a message or photo/video to this blog, click on "New Post" at the top of the page.
2. Type in a Title for the post - the Title will be added to the Blog Archive column when you finish the post.

5. When finished with your message and uploads, click the orange "Publish Post" button.

To comment on a post, or see what others have written, click "comments" following the post.

FAMILY RECIPE
LEMON PIE
(Ruth Sanford)
>Mix together:
1/4 c. sugar
4 rounded Tbsp. flour
>Mix together:
1 3/4 c. water
Juice and grated rind of 2 lemons
>Gradually add dry ingredients to liquid in sauce pan; bring to boil and cook until thick, stirring constantly
>2 egg yolks, beaten (save whites for merengue); add small amount of pie filling to egg yolks and mix well, then add it all back into pie filling
>Cook slowly another 2 minutes, stirring
>Remove from heat and stir in 1 Tbsp. butter; cool; pour into cooled baked pie shell
>Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding in 1/4 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar while whipping; add to top of pie
>Put in 400-425 oven a few minutes, until nicely browned

Larry Morris here. Great pictures of all. I will have to admit I don't know who is who since it has been a very long time since I have seen any of you. and Have not been in touch very much. Still trying to place every one on the family tree. I some times think we need to update the morris family roundup since it has been over 10 years since it was published.
