BLOG Instructions (just to get you started)
1. To add a message or photo/video to this blog, click on "New Post" at the top of the page.
2. Type in a Title for the post - the Title will be added to the Blog Archive column when you finish the post.

FAMILY RECIPE
LEMON PIE
(Ruth Sanford)
>Mix together:
1/4 c. sugar
4 rounded Tbsp. flour
>Mix together:
1 3/4 c. water
Juice and grated rind of 2 lemons
>Gradually add dry ingredients to liquid in sauce pan; bring to boil and cook until thick, stirring constantly
>2 egg yolks, beaten (save whites for merengue); add small amount of pie filling to egg yolks and mix well, then add it all back into pie filling
>Cook slowly another 2 minutes, stirring
>Remove from heat and stir in 1 Tbsp. butter; cool; pour into cooled baked pie shell
>Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding in 1/4 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar while whipping; add to top of pie
>Put in 400-425 oven a few minutes, until nicely browned

I just really think Nathan looks like Adam did at that age. Any comparison pictures that could be posted?
I have always thought they resembled each other. Nathan defintely looks like a Morris!

This is very good! I printed it for your Great Grandma because she doesn't have the internet and I'm sure she will enjoy reading your story. I will take it to her tomorrow when Bonnie and I drive down to see her.
