Surely there has to be one of Raplh and Glen out there.

I sent the two of Leonard off to Rob, Rich, and Christy. Who knows if they've seen them before. How old was he at the time or do you know?

I'm still looking for Ralph and Glenn - I know I've seen one before, but can't find it. The pic I have of Leonard doesn't have a date on it, but he sure looks young! He was born in 1895, and WWI was 1914-1918, so he could have been between 19 and 23. He looks closer to 19 to me. G'ma might know for sure. ~N~

Leonard was 21 according to his Draft Registration Card that I found on Ancestry.com last year when they had a free promo. He lists his birth as May 11, 1896. I'll try to scan it in, it's blurry. It might work better as an email.

It's so nice to see all the pictures. Thanks, Nancy!

Mary - Leonard's obit gives his birth date as 5-11-95. An interesting thing that I found in looking at dates is that Ruth was just shy of turning 18 when they married, and he had just turned 25.

I wonder why the draft card has a different date on it... that's neat that you could find it.
