Hi everyone! It's been a very busy end of school year for our family. We're very proud of Abby and Nathan. Both earned "A" Honor Roll for the whole year at school, and Nathan received the Principal's Award as well. We also got confirmation that Nathan will join Abby in the gifted program in Mesquite next year. He is very excited! In the meantime, we have hit the ground running this summer. Nathan is in Boy Scout Camp, where he is learning about wildlife (he said he held a praying mantis yesterday, mom), survival tips (what to do if you're lost in a forest), fishing, building bug habitats, and probably lots of other things. Abby is busy this summer in gymnastics and with piano lessons. I might actually get some reading done this summer (for fun!) and Carl is still enjoying his new job. I have really enjoyed seeing what each of you are up to, so keep blogging!

Wow, I'm so proud of both of them! They obviously take after their Aunt Laura. Seriously - I'm always so thrilled and pleased to hear what they've accomplished. If Jane is half as cute and half as smart, I'll be a proud mom, too. - Laura
Very nice, Faust Kids! But I think Laura meant to say that all the grandkids take after their GAMMY! Between you two and the accomplishments of the Ybarra bunch, I am popping my buttons off! Very proud of you!
