Okay, this was 2007 Autumn, but I can't wait for Fall to arrive. Little hints of it in the morning air, the days are getting shorter, woo-hoo!
Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm right along with you! Can't wait for fall, either. I can't believe the last 2-3 weeks has been unseasonably mild in Missouri. Fall is my favorite season, followed by spring. I love it when the stores put the flour, sugar, pumpkin pie filling, etc. on the end caps and such. Fall and winter mean baking! :) ~Kim
Kim, I am SO with you. There's just something about seeing the Eagle Brand Milk on the end caps that makes me feel warm and "homey". I love the fall!! Mom- beautiful pictures! - Laura
I agree -- fall is the best time of the year. I remember growing up, it was the start of my favorite things -- cool weather, school, Dallas Cowboy football, my birthday, and then all the holidays came right after, so it seemed like everyone was always in a good mood!

Great pictures, Nancy! That beats Wisconsin! Talking about baking, I'd love to see some recipes on the blog.
I enjoyed the blueberry picking pictures and found a place in Wisconsin, Hixton, which I think was not too far from your grandparents lake home at Lake Arbutus. But I didn't get there to pick blueberries. Thousands of people go there and wait for the bell to ring at 7am so they can start picking. Incredible!--Mary
Mary - I've not heard of Lake Arbutus - I remember Hatfield where they had a place and we would go to water ski and spend time in the summer. Is that the same thing as Lake Arbutus?
I have a recipe for Mary Belle's Ginger Creams (cookies). Do you have it, or want it?
