These are the four original pictures., to show the guys. Frank, my grandfather, is second in the top right picture, his brother, Elmer, second to his left, owned a business college in Wausau, WI. Left bottom picture in back is Elmer, Frank, and their father, Arnold Widmer who came from Switzerland(house is still standing in Ricterswil, now a craft school). And the young boy in front is Arnold McVey. Wow, I love these ancestral photos. I know it'd be A LOT of work, but it'd be great to have them all journaled somehow with their histories, etc. ~Kim
Oh, here are the men and kids. And even they are dressed up for the occasion! I know it was just the way pictures are from back then, but no one looks like they are having a good time! --Sarah
Kim, that's why this blog is so neat. If you click on one of the "Widmer" labels, you get all the Widmer photos, and you might be able to save them to some file and then print them out. --Mary
Just an observation in the bottom left photo, Frank is smiling and I see Mary Belle sitting up there smiling... I'm guessing that he said something funny and his wife is laughing at his joke. No one else seemed to have gotten it. They are really cute together.
