Easter
I was reviewing the CD of photos Nancy gave me and thought I'd post these Easter pictures I saw since Easter is coming up. Would anyone else like to post their Easter pictures? I remember last year Liz gave us all Easter baskets since we were still in town for their wedding. And that makes me ask, how come some years Easter falls in March and other years it's in April? ~Kim

Great pics, Kim! Wouldn't you have like to be a fly on the wall for a day in childhoods of our parents? - Laura
Kim - this is from a website when I Googled your question:
"Last year Easter was early — March 23. This year it's April 12.
The moon is what decides when Easter is celebrated. It must happen on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox, which is March 21.
That means the earliest Easter can be is March 22. The latest is April 25.
So while Easter is always officially in spring, sometimes it's early enough to still feel like winter."

I love Grandma looking out the door at you guys. She looks pleased!

Thanks, Nancy! Sometimes I forget about Google. :) ~Kim
And I wonder why G'ma wasn't dressed and ready to go to church like everyone else. Maybe she was so tired from getting the kids ready, clothes ironed, hair combed, etc., that she had no time for herself (like Cinderella).

I noticed that, too. Maybe she had to get Bill ready yet and was waiting for that to be done. ~Kim
