The surgical procedure took place on 6-26 in the morning. During the lapiscopic portion of the scheduled surgery they found that the cancer had spread to other organs from biopsies taken during the lapiscopic stages of the surgery. As a result the removal of the stomach was not performed and I went home in the afternoon. I have a follow-up with my oncologist this coming Tuesday.
More updates to follow as life unfolds.
God is good all the time!!

Larry - thanks for letting us know. Please keep us updated as you can.
Sure would love to see more pictures of your family, your brothers, and all the kiddos! Where in Florida are you? How long have you been there? I was thinking you were in CA.
Thanks for the update, Larry. I'm praying for your healing. - Laura
I'm sorry to hear that you have cancer, Larry. I had breast cancer 20 years ago, so I have some understanding of what you and your family are going through.
I led the effort to open a Gilda's Club in Madison, WI just before we moved to NC. Gilda's Clubs offer social and emotional support to men, women, and children who have cancer and to their families and close friends. I hope there is a similar organization close to you. It can help a lot.
Please keep in touch. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.
Pat Anderson
