My Colorado

I love the trees in Colorado
I just love this picture
I really like bridges, there were lots in the Rockies
Gorgeous views

A Scissortail, I think...

There is no snow in Texas, but there is still plenty here
Beautiful
We were fortunate enough to see a two moose

This is one of my favorite pictures
This is another
This is the background on my laptop, just so amazing
No words to express all the beauty I saw

One of the many lakes I saw and a glacier in the background I think
An elk running away from us, the first elk I've ever seen
River on the way to hike, another favorite
I love christmas trees, they smell so good
We were up so high, but it was worth it for the views

We saw an elk footprint leading down to the water on our hike
Just one of the many beautiful rivers

Durango to Silverton train ride

These are just a few pictures from my family vacation on June 20-29. These are just from Colorado, mostly from the Rockies. More to come later I hope. Enjoy :))
Love,
Allyson

Good pictures, Allyson! Those snow pictures especially look nice compared to our 103 temperature today. It's like a different world in the mountains.

I'm so jealous you got to go to the cool mountain air! :) What pretty pics. I absolutely love the mountains. I'm glad you got to go. Our family took a vacation there in '86, and then I've driven through it a couple of times since. Isn't it weird to have to pack sweatshirts and jeans in the middle of summer? :) ~Kim
